Pics of our Lil' Man

Friday, we had a 3D/4D ultrasound done.  This was something optional that Tim and I chose to do.  I was a little over the 25 week mark, and we will go again between 32 and 34 weeks.  Each time we go we get a CD of pictures and a DVD of Harrison moving around and showing us his tricks!  It'll be cool to show him these things someday.

This first one was probably one of the most peaceful ones there was.  He was soooo super active the whole time we were there.  I'm pretty sure we are going to have one active lil' boy on our hands!

He's showing off his flexibility here.  He's holding his foot up by his face, and it almost looks like he's trying to suck his thumb on the other hand.  What a crazy guy!

This one shows a pretty good view of his sweet face.

I can't wait to see the changes between now and the next time we go.  We will be able to see so much more.  Not only will he be bigger, but he won't have as much room to move around.  Hopefully that will allow for some much better still shots.

25 weeks down, 15 to go!

Harrison is getting bigger and stronger every day!  My weekly pregnancy email said he is about the size of a rutabaga.  (I didn’t even know what a rutabaga was.  Thanks to Google, I now do.)  Currently, he is about 13.5 inches long and 1.5lbs.  Skinny lil’ thing!  No worries though, he will be gaining that cute baby chub in the coming weeks.  He is moving around so much these days, and his kicks can be pretty strong.  The other night Tim was talking to him, and he kicked him right in the ear.  I thought it was pretty funny Smile

As for me, I’m feeling great!  (Aside from the cough and cold I’ve developed the last few days.)  I had an appointment yesterday, everything is right on track.  Tim was out of town for work, so I took my mom with me.  She was able to hear Harrison’s heartbeat for the first time.  My next appointment will be at the beginning of May.  It will consist of a routine checkup and gestational diabetes screening.  I’m not looking forward to drinking the sugary, orange drink before the appointment.  It doesn’t look very appealing.

Friday, we are having an optional 3D/4D ultrasound.  This appointment will last 30-60 minutes.  As long as Harrison cooperates, we will get a CD of pictures and a DVD.  Both my mom and Tim’s mom are getting to share this experience with us.  I can’t wait to see our lil’ man!

We ordered Harrison’s furniture yesterday.  JCPenney was having a huge sale, so we took advantage.  It will be here in a few weeks!  My mom helped me clean stuff out of our office this afternoon, so it’s one step closer to becoming the nursery.

More to come after our ultrasound Friday!
