Harrison's First Christmas!

Harrison had a busy Christmas weekend, but I know he enjoyed every minute of it!! He had Christmas Friday night, Saturday night, Sunday morning, Sunday night, and Monday morning! Whew!  What better way to spend a first Christmas than seeing everyone he loves in such a short amount of time!

Hank like's Harrison's new wagon too!

Yum, wrapping paper!

New York!

Earlier this month we took our first vacation without Harrison. We went to New York! Tim had training the first few days, and then we stayed a couple extra days to see the sights. Harrison spent the first few days with his Memaw and Pepaw (Tim's mom and stepdad) and the last few days with Mama C (my mom). It was hard leaving him, but we had a good time. Harrison had a good time too.

Tim and I got to see so much more than we thought we would have time for while in NYC! The first 3 nights we stayed in the Financial District. Our hotel was right next to the World Trade Center Memorial.

We took a "water taxi by night" tour.  It took us by the Statue of Liberty, Brooklyn Bridge, and the Manhattan skyline.  We also walked to Wall Street and saw the Charging Bull.  The next 2 nights we stayed close to Times Square.  There was so much to do in that area!  We did ALOT of walking in and around Times Square!  We went to Rockefellar Center to see the big Christmas tree and Top of the Rock Observatory, ice skating in Bryant Park, Central Park, FAO Schwarz, 5th Ave. to see the decorated store fronts, Grand Central Station, Macy's and more!

We had a great time, but we were definitely ready to get back home to Harrison!

5 Months Old!

Harrison turned 5 months old on Christmas Eve.  Boy, has he changed in the last month!  He is now on the move!  He rolls EVERYWHERE!!  He is also sitting up pretty good on his own.  Although, if he gets too excited, he topples over.  He also has a variety of new foods in his diet- cereal, avocado, pears, squash, apples, and prunes.  He loves them all!  Another big change...no more pack 'n' play in our room.  He's sleeping in his crib in his room now!  He's still adjusting, but I'm hoping it'll get better soon.
