7 Months Old!!

7 months already?!  Wow, time flies when you're having fun!

At 7 months, I'm pretty sure Harrison is close to 20lbs and 29-30 inches long.  He's long and lean!  His bottom 2 teeth are mostly in, and I won't be surprised if his top 2 start coming through soon.

As you saw in the video Harrison is on the move these days!  He is EVERYWHERE!  Well, I say everywhere, he has yet to venture out onto the tile.  He definitely prefers the carpet.  He loves Dusty, so he is always trying to get to him.  Sometimes he just looks at him and giggles! It's not a mutual love though!  I think Dusty liked him better when he wasn't mobile.

He likes to crawl to his toy shelf and pull toys and books down.

He wants so bad to pull up on things, but he doesn't quite have the balance yet.  He can get up to his knees on his own and his feet with help.  Waving has become one of his favorite things.  He will sit and wave his arms as fast as he can and just squeal!  He even does it in his crib when he should be sleeping.  He still rocks when he sits.  He's never still!  I've been trying to get him to say ma-ma or da-da, but no luck yet.  He sleeps really great most nights- about 10-11 hrs.  There are occassional nights that aren't so great though.

Harrison had his first cold the last couple weeks, but I think he is finally over it.  We have been so very lucky he hasn't had any major illnesses.  I think him staying with Mama C and not being in daycare has kept him from getting alot of those illnesses many babies deal with.  We are still dealing with some eczema issues, but I think we are on the road to getting over that as well.

Harrison is a really good eater!  He likes most of the foods we have given him.  This little mesh thing is pretty cool.  You can put whatever in it, and it reduces the choking risk.  We have put grapes, bananas, and sometimes ice in it.  He loves it!  In fact, when you take it away he screams!

As for Tim and I, we are doing good.  Tim's busy season at work has started.  He's working longer hours during the week and on Saturdays.  His traveling hasn't started yet, but will soon.  Harrison and I will hopefully be doing some Pinterest inspired projects around the house to keep us entertained during Tim's crazy work season!  Work is going good for me also.  I enjoy having my Fridays off to spend with Harrison and run errands.  Mama and I usually find something to get into on Fridays.  Yesterday we went shopping in Austin.  Harrison did great!

As most of you probably know, tomorrow is my 30th birthday.  Tim is taking me to The Melting Pot in Austin tonight to celebrate!  This is a place I have always wanted to go, but didn't really know much about it until I was talking to a friend at work about it this week.  I can't wait!
