Parker's Park Project Picnic

Harrison had tons of fun playing on the playground at the Parker's Park Project Picnic!

Most of you know Tim is helping out with the planning and rebuilding of the park in West since it was destroyed in the explosion. This picnic was just a day for families to come hang out, play, listen to music, and the kids got to draw pictures of things they would like to have at the new park.

These stairs scared me at first, but Harrison did a great job climbing them.

He loved the slide!

Just a swingin'

Kinley took a nap while swinging with Kenna.

I think he was starting to get tired. He played HARD!

Pizza break!

Playtime with Aunt Val!

He wasn't too sure about the tire swing

Perot Museum and State Fair

A couple weeks ago we took the kids to Dallas for the weekends.  We started off by going to the Perot Museum with Out good friends, The Kolars.

Harrison and Kadence drove a truck.

Harrison crawled through a log

and did a little cooking.

He hung out in a teepee.

He LOVES slides!!

Kinley and Seb hung out in the baby section.

She had a blast!

Kinley loves to check herself out in the mirror!

He was watching some sort of movement video.

Kinley just couldn't stay awake.

Playing with Kadence.

Tim, Harrison, Joey, and Kadence got to experience what an earthquake would feel like

After a few hours at the museum, we decided it was time to head out. The Kolars headed home, and we went to check in at the hotel. We let the kids stretch and play for a little while then went to dinner.

I was really impressed with how well the kids did that night at the hotel.  (It was the first time we had spent the night in a hotel as a family of 4.)  We took Harrison's toddler cot from Mama C's and the pack 'n' play for Kinley.  They both slept great!  Sunday morning we got up, ate breakfast, and went to the State Fair.

Big Tex!

They look subdued, but I think they enjoyed it.

"Cheese!"

We haven't quite figured out the best time to go to the State Fair. Last year we went during tx/ou weekend, and it was super crowded. This year we went on the very last day, and it was suuuuuper crowded too. We still had fun though!
