Spring Break!!

Spring Break was a few weeks ago.  While Tim was battling snowstorms in Canada for some work training, the kids and I stayed busy around Waco.  

Get ready for pictures galore!  

Monday- Grandpa (my dad) came to the house to spend some time with the kids and I. It was a beautiful day, so we took the kids to the park.  Harrison had a blast!  Kinley enjoyed it too :-)

Tuesday- Kenna and I loaded up Harrison, Kinley, and Hailey (Kenna's friend's little girl) and headed to the Austin Zoo. I wasn't very impressed with the zoo, but the kids had fun. 

Wednesday- The kids, Kenna, and I went with my mom and cousin Bonnie to do some shopping in Ft. Worth.  

Thursday- The kids and I met Brandy and Jillian for lunch and then went to the Cameron Park Zoo.  

What a fun break!!!  

Kinley 10 months!

Kinley turned 10 months on February 22.  Her 1st birthday will be here before we know it!  Crazy how time flies!! 

At 10 months, Kinley is walking EVERYWHERE!  Little to no crawling for the last week or two.  She still falls if she tries to move too fast or carry too much, but for the most part she does really well.  She is still learning to walk in shoes and in the grass outside though.

We have had a few setbacks in eating and sleeping this last month, but I think it is due to her cutting about 5 teeth right now.  We pretty much had her completely off baby food and on table food for several days, but then she decided no more table food.  So as of right now, we are doing a mixture of both.  For the last few weeks she has been much more restless at night than she has been in months.  Again, I assume this is due to teeth.  Overall she is still a pretty good eater and sleeper.  

She is starting to really understand her toys and play with them alot more.  One of her favorite things to do right now is push her toys, cups, and loveys around on Harrison's scooter seat that Auntie Em, Uncle Reed, and Addie got him for Christmas.  She has been known to push Harrison around on it too!

"Why do I have to wear these things all the time?"

"I'll put it back, Mommy."

Kinley continues to be super happy most of the time.  There isn't much that makes her mad.  If Harrison pesters her or if she hasn't had enough sleep are pretty much the only times.  She is perfectly content riding in the car, stroller, or shopping cart.  

This was the only picture Harrison was willing to take with Kinley during her 10 month photo shoot.  It was his iPad time, so he was definitely too busy for pictures.
