His 6 month check up was yesterday. He weighed 17lbs 14.5oz and was 27.5in long! His weight was in the 50th percentile and height was the 75th percentile. Just like the 2 month and 4 month appointments, he got 3 shots. He did an awesome job. His next round of shots will be in 3 months instead of 2 months, so we get a little break. The doctor said he looks great and is developing right on track!
A few weeks ago we decided to break Harrison's napping in the swing habit. It was alot easier than we expected. We packed the swing up and got him a jumper to put in it's place. He loves it! He jumped and swayed himself to sleep one morning.
Harrison has also gotten really good at sitting up! He likes to rock while he's sitting. One night he almost rocked himself to sleep!
A few other things going on in Harrison's life...
-His bottom 2 teeth are coming in.
-He's learned to clap. (I still need to get a video of this.)
-He's working on waving bye.
-He's getting really good at maneuvering himself around to get the toys he wants. He isn't crawling yet, but he can get to things by rolling or moving around on his tummy.
-He still gets a new food every week. We haven't really found anything he won't eat. Peas are probably his least favorite though.
-He has officially moved out of his baby bathtub and into the big tub. He was just getting too long for the baby tub. He's got much more room to play with his tub toys. He LOVES it!
-He hold his own bottle (when he wants to) and is learning to use a sippy cup.
We are continuously amazed by how fast Harrison is growing and learning, and we grow more and more in love with him every day!
