Harrison turned 3 on July 24!
He didn't really have the best birthday though. A couple days before his birthday he got a nasty virus. By the time his birthday rolled around he was feeling a little better, but definitely not 100%.
He ran a pretty high fever, so we "camped out" in the living room for several nights. It was just easier to keep an eye on him that way. He loved it!
He got to feeling better.
We gave him his big birthday gift (the tractor) and...
celebrated with cupcakes.
We went to Nana, Pawpaw, and Aunt KK's house for some more celebrating and...
more cake!
Then the poor guy got sick again. This time worse- higher fever and just overall puny.
We ended up in the hospital. He got an IV with fluids and some Benadryl due to a reaction from a shot he had gotten at the doctor.
He started feeling better before too long.
After a little over 24hrs in the hospital, he was a completely different kid. He walked out of that hospital feeling much better and with a huge smile on his face.
Unfortunately we had to cancel his birthday party, but that means we will just have to celebrate even bigger next year!
At 3 years old...
