Kinley 13 months!

Kinley turned 13 months on May 22.  Yes, I know I'm behind. 

At 13 months old, Kinley loves the pool and the sprinkler. She loves being outside in general. 

She's a ham!  

She loves reading..

rocking...

her sunglasses...

and her babies.

Kinley also enjoys playing with Harrison. She wants to do everything he does.  She LOVES him!!

She's an eater. She will pretty much eat anything we give her.  Blueberries, meatballs, mac and cheese, and yogurt melts are almost always a hit!  She's still very attached to her loveys. We don't ever leave the house without one, and when we are home there's always one nearby. She has really started to become more interested in tv. Mickey is her favorite. She likes to dance to the songs they sing. 

She keeps us on our toes and continues to be very happy. 

Memorial Day 2014!

We started off our Memorial Day weekend with a little swimming and cooking out! 

Aunt KK, Nana, and Pawpaw came over for dinner. The kids swam and played in the rain! 

Harrison had his first boat and lake experience. He was a little hesitant at first, but ended up loving it!!

Happy First Birthday, Kinley!!

Kinley turned one almost a month ago.  In fact tomorrow she will be 13 months old.  I'll hopefully get caught back up on my blogging this summer.  

At a year old Kinley is so much fun!  She has such a fun little personality, and she's a pretty happy camper the majority of the time.  

She enjoys blueberries, bananas, meatballs, baby dolls, shoes, bathtime, climbing, swinging, and balls.  

She understands so much and tries repeating everything.  She can pretty consistently say hi, bye, ball, rock (for the rocking chair), mama, and dada.  

She doesn't like being still, getting put in the carseat, sitting in the highchair, or when we make her leave Harrison's room.  

At her one year appointment she weighed 20lbs 2oz, and she was 30.5 inches long.  Dr. J said she looked perfect!  She got 3 shots and a finger prick.  She cried for just a few seconds after the shots and not at all during the finger prick.  She just watched the nurse and gave her crazy looks.  

Kinley had a donut party the weekend after her birthday.  I was terrible and didn't take a single picture!  I was just so busy.  I never even thought about it.  She had lots of people celebrate with her and got lots of goodies.  A good time was had by all!  

Kinley- 1 month from 1!

Ahhh!  This little sweetie is going to be ONE in less than 2 weeks!!!  I can't believe it! 

Kinley is walking everywhere!  And she's quick!  She has gotten much better about walking outside and with shoes on the last few weeks. 

She has 7 teeth and one more coming in that I know of.  She is back to table food all the time.  No more baby food!!  Yay!  She loves blueberries and peas and carrots!  It's so nice to be able to go to a restaurant and not deal with baby food anymore.  We can just order one kid meal and she and Harrison can share.  This week we made the switch to whole milk.  She wasn't phased at all.  I did a couple days of half whole milk and half formula, and I don't even think she noticed. 

Lately she's really into Harrison's toys.  Everyday she goes into Harrison's room and gets his baseball and glove.  She also likes to play with his tools.  Harrison is not a fan of her playing with anything of his though.  She plays with her toys too though.  Right now she really likes to play with her klip klop stable, and she enjoys carrying around her little princesses. 

Kinley is still super happy most of the time.  In fact the day I took these pictures she was on day 2 of a nasty fever virus.  She ran a temp for 6 days!  Anywhere from a low grade to 103.4!  She never had any other symptoms other than a little bit of a red throat.  She still ate and drank fairly close to her normal amounts and still played, but when her fever spiked she was pretty subdued.  I took her to the doctor 3 times during about 5 days.  On the 6th day of running a fever, the doctor decided she wanted to have some bloodwork done to make sure she didn't have a bacterial infection or something worse.  Bloodwork on an 11 month old...NOT FUN!!  She and I both cried!  Thankfully all the bloodwork came back fine and the next day her fever seemed to be gone.
