Harrison 23 months and swimming lessons!

I cannot believe Harrison is going to be 2 in just a few weeks!  Man, where has the time gone?!  He has been a busy almost 2yr old!  A couple weeks ago he did 2 weeks of parent/child swimming lessons at the local YMCA.  I'm not convinced he loved it, but I think he at least liked it.  Plus it was good exposure.  The main point of the class was exposure to water too deep for him and what to do if he were to fall in.

First day of swimming lessons.  He fell asleep  mid donut.

Day 2...excited!

Hanging out until time for swimming to start.

Playing on the playground after swim lessons.  I think he liked this most of all.  Lately he loves to "climb" and be "high".

Harrison was the ring bearer in April and JD's wedding.  I had to carry him down the aisle, and Tim had to take him outside right after we got down the aisle.  He just wasn't having it.  He sure looked cute though!!  (We have better pics, but for some reason I can't get them to load.)

We took the kids to the Dallas World Aquarium one weekend.  Harrison enjoyed it.  He loves fish!

At 23 months Harrison...
- is becoming more and more independent.
- is starting to talk in 2-3 word sentences.
- talks ALL the time!
- likes to climb and be up high.
- LOVES Kinley.
- likes to chose what he wants to wear and eat.
- wants to help with everything.
- loves being outside.
- is a picky eater.
- loves playing with other kids.
- doesn't like his hands being dirty.
- "mops" with a towel if he spills something.
- doesn't like being still.
- doesn't like taking pictures.
- "no" has become a favorite word.

He keeps us on our toes, but we wouldn't have it any other way!!
